Our Story
Nnika Publishing Limited is the result of several years of growth, collaboration, and a shared vision to make book publishing accessible, affordable, and empowering for independent authors.
The journey began with our CEO and Co-founder, Omobolaji Olofinnika, who, between 2018 and 2019, wrote several books but struggled to find a publisher.
After numerous unsuccessful queries to both local and international traditional publishing houses, and facing the high costs of self-publishing, he realised that many emerging authors faced similar struggles. This frustration birthed Nnika Publishing.
Together with a group of like-minded creatives, Omobolaji founded Nnika Publishing to remove barriers and simplify the publishing process.
We believe every writer deserves the chance to be heard, and that publishing quality books shouldn’t come at an impossible price.
Our sister company, Alkelan Press, furthers this mission by curating and publishing anthologies that bring together diverse voices from across Nigeria, often at no cost to the contributors.
Through these efforts, we continue to champion stories that matter, voices that deserve space, and communities that inspire.
